Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun: Members Federal House of Representatives

The Federal Constituency of Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun is one of the most politically vibrant blocs in Kwara State, known for its rich history and characteristically strong intellectual culture, with an enviable civic engagement. Composed of three influential Local Government Areas, namely: Offa, a recognised academic and business hub; Oyun, renowned for its cultural richness and community leadership; and Ifelodun, the largest LGA in Kwara State, with great electoral importance, the constituency has played an important role in the political life of the State since the return of Nigeria to democratic rule in 1999.

Over the years, representation from this constituency has reflected changing political currents in Kwara: from the early Fourth Republic era of dominance of APP/ANPP, the long-standing control of the PDP, and finally, the emergence and consolidation of APC influence from 2019 onwards. Each representative brought different political styles, backgrounds, and developmental priorities, adding to the constituency’s identity in legislation at the National Assembly.
