She is the daughter of the late Alhaji Ahman Pategi (Galadiman Patigi), a respected statesman who served as a minister in the Northern Region government under Sir Ahmadu Bello.
She also has over 20 years of professional experience in communication strategy, investment and financial consulting, marketing, and motivational leadership.
Before entering full-time politics, Aisha Ahman Pategi worked as a financial advisor and mortgage consultant with Continental Mortgage/World Financial Services Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia (2005–2007). She later served as Senior Special Assistant on Strategy and Communication to former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
She has been involved in non-profit work, including as Executive Director of Project Coach Foundation since 2018, focusing on community outreach, advocacy, capacity building, and health initiatives for vulnerable communities in Nigeria.
She is the founder of the Mama Mahalia Foundation, which supports empowerment programs, entrepreneurship, and community development.
