Olatunde Michaels Oyeyiola, popularly known as OOLAT, is a seasoned multimedia entrepreneur, media executive, communications expert, and emerging politician from Oro Kingdom. With over two decades of experience in media production, content creation, event management, and public service, he has built a reputation as a creative innovator and results-driven leader. He is recognized for transforming Kwara Television into a modern digital broadcaster and is now positioning himself as a unifying voice for purposeful representation in Kwara South.

Professional Career

Olatunde Oyeyiola is a multimedia guru and entrepreneur with a distinguished career in Nigeria’s entertainment and media industry. He founded Playcenter Nigeria in 2007, a leading multimedia company specializing in TV production, content creation, media promotion, marketing, and events management.

Key highlights of his career include:  

  • Early work at Alphavision Multimedia (2004), where he contributed to the launch and growth of Soundcity Television into a pan-African channel.
  • Media and event consultancy for DKM Media (D’banj-led) and management roles, including for Peter Okoye (P-Square).
  • General Manager at Trace TV.
  • Production of major projects such as Wedding Channel Africa (Africa’s first 24-hour wedding channel), MTN campaigns, Access Mavin Concert, Arise Fashion Show, and many high-profile TVCs and reality shows.

In 2021, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq appointed him as General Manager of Kwara Television, where he repositioned the station with modern digital capabilities and improved content.
