Oyeyemi began her career at Roemichs International School, Ilorin, where she rose rapidly from Classroom Teacher to School Administrator/General Manager within five years. She also had experience working at Dabco Nigeria Limited, Ilorin.

Her expertise spans business management, educational administration, and public finance. She has over a decade of experience in these areas and has been involved in public financial management at both state and national levels (including roles linked to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency).

As Commissioner for Finance and Planning under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, she played a key role in fiscal management, budgeting, and economic planning for Kwara State, earning recognition for her performance and becoming one of the youngest persons to hold such a position in the country.
